Issue 4 of Barren Magazine is up today, and it is a knockout. I mean, just the name is beautiful and chilling: The Gathering Field. I love the spare aesthetic of this journal. It’s the photography that grabs me, but then I pause to read some of these poems and…I have to take a break sometimes. The content here is often intense. And gorgeous.
